Established in July 2022, the Centre for Sustainable Development Studies (CSDS) aims to conduct research and organise knowledge transfer activities related to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN). It focuses on how institutions, policies and practices affect the achievement of the selected SDGs in global and local contexts.

Many CSDS members are working on pressing issues related to two areas:

  • Poverty, inequality and mobility (i.e. addressing SDG 1 No Poverty and SDG 10 Reduced Inequalities)
  • Climate policy, clean energy and environmental protection (i.e. addressing SDG 7 Affordable and Clean Energy and SDG 13 Climate Action)
