Service-learning

The Centre facilitates the organisation of education activities related to sustainable development in collaboration with community partners and internal units of the University such as the Centre for Innovative Service-Learning and General Education Office.  It provides opportunities for students to contribute to sustainable development through service-learning activities, such as those for ECON 3075 Service Learning for Sustainable Development and the GE capstone course GCAP 3076 Service Learning in Fighting Poverty. The Centre strives to expand its social networks and strengthen the research-teaching nexus to further enhance the effectiveness of the learning activities.

Over hundreds of students and thousands of service targets have been reached by the service-learning activities. Some of them are outlined below.
